What does an allied health/therapy assistant do?

AHA/therapy assistants help facilitate programs or therapy for individuals who would benefit from additional ongoing sessions. They are guided by a qualified therapist to guide individuals in developing and practising new skills and strategies. 

Social & Emotional Regulation

Facilitate individuals in identifying different emotions and appropriately adjusting their behaviours.

Group Programs

Guide programs to develop skills and overall functional capacity.

Daily Activities

Provide education to increase independence with daily tasks including dressing, personal hygiene, basic meal preparation & much more!
